Collin MacDonald

Collin MacDonald

Collin MacDonald began his professional career at 17, with a short period at Watford under the guidance of former England manager Graham Taylor.

After moving To Hibs (Hibernian FC), he played under the legendary former Scotland boss, Willie Ormond, for a couple of seasons.

Collin then signed for Dundee where he remained for five seasons, playing over 200 games for the Dark Blues.

He was also on the verge of the Scottish U21 team.

After a fall out with the the Dundee management of the time, Collin drifted out of the Scottish game and found himself travelling throughout the world coaching goalkeepers.

Countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Greece and Portugal, as well as several coaching stints in the USA, have provided Collin with a vast experience of the goalkeeping position.

Collin can boast that he is one of only a few professional goalkeepers to have saved a penalty against the legendary figure of ex Northern Ireland and Manchester United star George Best.. albeit in training!

Collin is now based in West Yorkshire and looking to pass on his playing and coaching knowledge via his 1 goalkeeper school.
